Self-catering log cabin holidays

Stay in one of our five genuine log cabins for a relaxing holiday or break. The cabins, (listed as 4* self-catering by Devon Farms), accommodate up to six people each (plus cot as required). The cabins are perfect for a family holiday or equally for friends and offer something different from a normal cottage holiday let. The cabins enjoy private gardens and verandahs with panoramic views. Our log cabins are the real thing: thick walls, fully insulated with central heating makes them great for holidays the whole year round.

Inside a log cabin

Each 80 square metre cabin sleeps six and provides:

• Open plan lounge with sofas and a dining area with large table and six dining chairs
• Three bedrooms including master double bedroom with en-suite and two twin bedrooms
• Additional family bathroom
• Central heating and log burner
• TV and DVD
• Bed linen included
• Club WIFI available to purchase
• Large verandah which includes chairs and a large table for you to enjoy a meal outside
• Panoramic views across to our private fishing lake and the moors
• Peaceful surroundings
• Ample parking beside each cabin

Ensuring your safety and comfort

We adhere to guidance issued by the Government for the hospitality sector and have made some changes to ensure the safety of all our guests and cleaners:

• Cleaning. Cabins are cleaned to a high standard. Cabins are cleaned with disinfectant before you arrive.
• Soft furnishings. We have removed some items from the cabins to minimise risks, including cushions and information leaflets.
• Linen. All linen including sheets, towels, shower mats and tea towels are provided. You will find all the beds made on arrival with fresh linen. On the morning of your departure, we ask you to:
• Strip the beds
• Place all linen – all mats, towels and sheets - in the laundry bag provided
• Take the laundry bag to the laundry room (near the farm shop) on your way out.

Accessible, wheelchair friendly holidays

Our log cabins are also suitable for people with limited mobility and disabled people. They are single storey and are wheelchair friendly. Some have walk in/wheel in showers. If you have any questions please contact us.

Dogs

We have three pet friendly cabins. On the booking page, please ensure you book the Otter, Exmoor or the Dartmoor if you intend to bring a dog. The farm is perfect for long walks with dogs. We ask dog owners to ensure all dog mess is picked up and disposed of in the bins provided. This includes all areas of the farm and the cabin gardens.

Farm shop

We sell a variety of produce including our own award winning fresh milk as well as sausages, bacon, burgers and joints of pork, beef and lamb. Yum. We also sell cheese, butter, crisps, biscuits, local fruit and vegetables - and much more. See more information on the farm shop here.(opens new window)
